Chloe Dowling is a photo editor, photographer, and multimedia artist originally from Los Angeles but now based in New York City. Chloe studied media studies and journalism at the University of California, Berkeley and fashion and design at Parsons Paris. Her mixed media images utilize color and graphic design to create dynamic and visual stories that highlight issues relating to fashion, art, advocacy, and Gen Z. Chloe also draws inspiration from her mixed race identity, using stories from her childhood and memories of her Chinese grandmother as a foundation for her visual narratives.

Chloe's focus on visual storytelling has translated to the industries of journalism, marketing, PR, and fashion—as seen through her design consulting work with Facebook, The New York Times, Tower 28, Waymo, and Yogurtland. Her photography and writing has been recognized by companies such as VSCO, Southbay Magazine, and The Quality Edit.

Currently working as the Art and Photo Assistant at TIME Magazine, Chloe conducts photo research across print, digital, and TIME100 franchises (Creators, Inventions, Health, etc). She also supports celebrity shoots, contributes to the coverage of major events like the TIME100 Gala, curates visuals for photo essays, and designs assets for social, print, and digital platforms.

In addition to photography, design, and fashion, Chloe loves rewatching New Girl, rock climbing and yoga, mastering the perfect cup of matcha, going to museums, and thrifting her next outfit.
